Many candidates preparing for the SSB interview ask the same question:<\/span> Is SSB interview tough?<\/b><\/p>\n

To be completely honest, yes! It is very hard, but it’s totally doable. The SSB interview is not meant to eliminate you but rather to identify that Officer that lies deep within you.<\/span><\/p>\n

What Happens in SSB Interview?<\/h2>\n

Before you decide whether the SSB Interview process is tough, you need to know <\/span>what happens in the SSB interview<\/b>.\u00a0 The SSB interview is a 5-day personality-based assessment after you have passed the Written Exam (NDA, CDS, AFCAT, etc.), and the assessment will assess the ability of the candidate to demonstrate the Officer Like Qualities (OLQ’s) of Leadership, confidence, decision making, teamwork, and emotional balance. The SSB does not assess your Book knowledge.<\/span><\/p>\n

SSB 5 Days Procedure: Day-wise Process Explained<\/h2>\n

The SSB interviewing process is conducted over five days to assess all aspects of candidate personality and behaviour. This ongoing assessment is one of the main reasons <\/span>why the SSB interview is tough<\/b> and cannot be passed by simply rehearsing what to say on the day of the interview.<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 0: Reporting Day<\/h3>\n

The journey towards SSB begins on Reporting Day (Day 0). Candidates should report to the SSB centre as specified on their call letter. While no assessments will be made on Day 0, the way the candidates conduct themselves during this first encounter will have a significant impact on their overall assessment. Throughout the day, candidates will be evaluated based on their punctuality, general conduct, and adherence to discipline.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Day 1: Screening Test (Phase I)<\/h3>\n
