JOIN COLLEGES OF NURSING UNDER AFMS |\u00a0BSc (NURSING) COURSE – 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Applications are invited from female candidates who have qualified NEET (UG)- 2025,<\/strong> conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA)<\/strong> for admission to four years BSc (Nursing) Course commencing in the year 2025 at Colleges of Nursing under Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS). Candidates will be selected for admission at Colleges of Nursing based on the final merit cum choice prepared using NEET (UG) 2025 score,<\/strong> Computer Based Test of General Intelligence, General English (TOGIGE), Psychological Assessment and Interview<\/strong>, subject to medical fitness and vacancies at each College.<\/p>\n

2. It is mandatory for all candidates desirous of seeking admission to BSc Nursing course at AFMS<\/strong> institutions to:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0 Qualify NEET (UG)-2025 conducted by NTA.
\n(b) Register and apply at the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in (JIA).
\n(c) Appear for the screening process at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt (BHDC) on the given date if shortlisted to attend the same.<\/p>\n

Important Dates:<\/strong><\/p>\n

BSc Nursing Course 2025- Registration for admission to BSc Nursing Course 2025 at Colleges of Nursing under AFMS will commence wef 17 Jun 2025 at 1400 hrs till 2300 hrs on 2 July 2025. And Correction windows open from 3 July to 7 July<\/strong><\/p>\n

3.Eligibility Conditions:<\/strong>
\n(a) Female candidates who are unmarried\/divorced\/legally separated\/ widow without encumbrances.
\n(b)\u00a0 Nationality:<\/strong> Citizen of India
\n(C) Date of Birth:<\/strong> Born between 01 Oct 2000 and 30 Sep 2008 (both days inclusive).
\n(D) Educational Qualification:<\/strong> Candidate must have passed in FIRST ATTEMPT, Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent (12 Years schooling), with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English with not less than 50% aggregate marks as a regular student from a Statutory\/ Recognized Board\/University\/Examining Body.<\/p>\n

(e) Physical Standards:<\/strong>
\nMedical fitness for admission to BSc (Nursing) course will be decided by the medical board conducted as per the standards and criteria prescribed and amended from time to time. The minimum height required for entry into Armed Forces for female candidates is 152 cm. Candidates from Hill and North Eastern States will be accepted with a minimum height of 147cm. An allowance for growth of 02 cm will be made for candidates below 18 yrs at the time of examination.
\nWeight for height chart for Females enclosed as ‘Appendix B’ to 0\/0 DGAFMS\/DG-3A letter No 41187\/2(V)\/DGAFMS\/DG-3A dt 23 Jul 2024 will be the standards for entry.<\/p>\n

(F) SC\/ST Candidates:<\/strong> It is mandatory to possess SC\/ST certificate issued by competent authority from not below the rank of 1st class Magistrate\/ Tehsildar \/ Sub Divisional Officer of the area where the candidate and\/or her family normally resides.<\/p>\n

(g) NCC ‘C’ Candidates: <\/strong>Candidates who have qualified NCC ‘C’ are required to upload their NCC ‘C’ certificate.<\/p>\n

4. Screening Process<\/strong>
\n(a) Short listing of candidates:<\/strong> The short listing of candidates will be done through NEET (UG) 2025 scores. The reference numbers of the candidates who are shortlisted for screening process will be displayed at the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for TOGIGE, Psychological Assessment, Interview and Medical examination at Base Hospital Delhi Cantt. The admit card for the same can be downloaded from the above website.<\/p>\n

Note: Request for change of date of screening process will NOT be entertained except under extreme circumstances.<\/p>\n

(b) Verification of Documents:<\/strong> All shortlisted candidates will be required to produce originals of all documents listed in the admit card at the time of screening process at BHDC. In case the candidate is not in possession of original certificates at the time of screening, she must produce an original receipt from the institution where the original documents are deposited. An undertaking to this effect must also be given by the candidates to produce all original certificates at the time of admission.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> The shortlisted candidates if not in possession of documents as per eligibility criteria or at any stage of the selection process, or if it is found that the information provided has been willfully concealed or misrepresented will lead to disqualification from the selection process\/loss of candidature.<\/p>\n

(C) Test of General Intelligence & General English (TOGIGE):<\/strong> Test of General Intelligence & General English (TOGIGE) will be in the form of Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of 40 MCQs of two marks each for maximum marks of 80. There will be negative mark of 0.5 for every incorrect answer. These 40 questions will be required to be answered in 30 mins.<\/p>\n

(D) Psychological Assessment and Interview:<\/strong> All shortlisted candidates will undergo Psychological Assessment and Interview by a Board of Officers at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt. The candidates may be asked questions on the core subjects up to Std XII, General Knowledge, Current affairs and their interests, hobbies etc.
\nNote: Due weightage will be given to candidates during interview for achievements in Sports at various levels and for the dependents of Officers\/JCOS\/ORS who are Serving\/ESM\/Killed in action.<\/p>\n

(e) Medical Examination: <\/strong>All candidates have to be medically fit keeping in view, the specific training requirements, charter of duties and level of fitness desired for candidates to join MNS. All shortlisted candidates will undergo Special Medical Board (SMB) at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt. Candidates will be informed about their medical status on completion of medical examination.<\/p>\n

Candidates declared UNFIT by the Medical Board may appeal against the decision by depositing Rs 40\/- (Rupees Forty only) by MRO. Application along with receipted copy of MRO must be presented by the candidate and should report to the concerned hospital for Appeal Medical Board (AMB) within 24 hours from the date of SMB.<\/p>\n

Note: All candidates must be present for medical examination till the completion of Medical Board and declaration of their medical status. In case a candidate fails to be physically present during SMB\/AMB, she will be declared UNFIT IN ABSENTIA. Any representation at a later date in writing or telephonically \/ e-mail will not be entertained.<\/p>\n

Final Selection:<\/strong> The final selection of a candidate will be based on the combined merit of NEET (UG) 2025 scores + TOGIGE score + Psychological Assessment and Interview, subject to medical fitness. Merit List will be prepared and colleges will be allocated to the selected candidates based on the merit cum choice, subject to seats available at each college. The list of selected candidates will be published on the JIA website. The candidates are required to check the website regularly for updates. Admission to the Colleges:<\/strong> The candidates, if offered admission shall execute an Agreement\/Bond to serve in Armed Forces Medical Services as Military Nursing Service (MNS) officer. During training, they will be provided with free ration, accommodation, uniform allowance and monthly stipend as per the rules amended from time to time.<\/p>\n

7. Withdrawal from the Course:<\/strong> In the event of withdrawal from the course, termination of training or refusal to accept Commission in the MNS when offered, the candidate will be liable to pay the bond money at a rate proportionate to the duration of time she has been trained in the institute. Any candidate withdrawing from the college after 7 days of admission [after 1600 hrs (4PM)] will have to pay Bond Money as per agreement bond executed by them at the time of admission to college.<\/p>\n
