CAPF Eligibility Criteria<\/span><\/h1>\n<\/p>\n

CAPF stands for Central Armed Police Forces. CAPF serves as the primary defense line apart from the Indian Armed Forces. CAPF officer rank entry exam is conducted every year by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). CAPF exam is conducted for recruitment into BSF, SSB, ITBP, AR, NSG. <\/span><\/p>\n

Now just like any other competition it is really important for the defence aspirants to get familiar with the eligibility criteria of the exam they are appearing for. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Following is the detailed eligibility criteria for UPSC CAPF exam. Taking note of it before appearing for the written exam is strongly advised. <\/span><\/p>\n

CAPF Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nationality<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If we talk about nationality, then the candidate should be an Indian citizen, the candidates of Bhutan and Nepal can also apply for this.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Age Limit<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If we talk about the age limit, then the lower age-limit for CRPF exam is 20 years and the upper age-limit is less than 25 years, it is calculated from 1st August of the exam year, the number of the candidate who has given this exam. He\/she should not be born earlier than 2nd August 1995 and should not be born later than 2nd August 1995.

Age Relaxation is also given to the candidate of the following reserved categories :-
<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0SC\/ST candidates are given relaxation of 5 years in upper age.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0OBC candidates have been given relaxation of 3 years and Civilian Central Government and X-Serviceman for 5 years. <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Educational Qualification<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Candidate must have a recognized university degree, final year students can also apply. Candidate having B & C certificate of NCC will be given preference in interview.
<\/span><\/p>\n

Physical Standards<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0If we talk about the physical standard, then the height of the male candidate should be at least 165 cm and the height of the female candidate should be 157 cm.
<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0The weight of male candidate should be 50 kg and that of female candidate should be at least 46 kg. The chest of male candidates is 81 cm and this condition is not applied on female candidates.<\/span><\/p>\n
