Age Limt For Joining IMA<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

The Indian Military Academy (IMA ) is the premier training school for the training of officers of the Indian Army.<\/span><\/p>\n

Technical graduates, ex-NDA, ex-ACC and university entry cadets undergo training at IMA for one year. Direct entry cadets train for one and a half years while the\u00a0Territorial Army\u00a0officers course is three month.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are four fundamental entry schemes to get into IMA. In your last year of Graduation, you need to pass through the Combined Defense Services Exam (CDS), clear the SSB, be medicinally fit and join IMA as a Direct Entry on the off chance that you come in merit. <\/span><\/p>\n

Different Entry Schemes are 10+2 Tech Entry where you apply after your Class 12th<\/sup> Board Exams. College Entry Scheme is for those of you who wish to apply for Army in Pre-Final\/Final Year of Engineering. <\/span><\/p>\n

Those of you who have finished your BE\/B Tech in advised streams can likewise join IMA in the Technical Graduate Course. The choice system is same with respect to IMA (Direct Entry) noting that there are no written tests. The length of preparing is 1 \u00bd years for IMA (DE), five years (one year at IMA and long term at Cadet Training Wings) for 10+2 TES (incl. one year after commissioning) and one year for all other entries.<\/span><\/p>\n
