It is a national level admission test via which students are selected into training academies of the Indian Navy, Indian Military, and Air Force. In this blog we will discuss about <strong>NDA 2 2023 Form Notification<\/strong> in details.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <strong>NDA (II) 2023 Application Form<\/strong> is available on <strong>17th May, 2023<\/strong>. The exam date has been set. For the first session, the test will be held on <strong>3rd Sep, 2023<\/strong>. To be eligible for admittance into the NDA, candidates must pass the entrance exam, followed by SSB interview rounds and medical examinations. The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Candidates are required to apply online by using the website upsconline.nic.in. It is essential for the applicant to register himself\/herself first at One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission\u2019s website, and then proceed for filling up the online application for the examination. OTR has to be registered only once in life time. This can be done anytime throughout the year. Gorkhas and candidates belonging<br \/>\nto Hills of North Eastern region of India, Garhwal and Kumaon will be accepted with a minimum height of 148 cm. An allowance for<br \/>\ngrowth of 02 cm will be made for candidates below 18 yrs at the time of examination. The minimum height requirement for the<br \/>\nFlying Branch is 163 cm. Flying Branch also requires other anthropometric standards like sitting height, leg length and thigh<br \/>\nlength.<\/p>\n<p>(b) Weight for height charts given below is for all categories of personnel. This chart is prepared based on the BMI. The chart<br \/>\nspecifies the minimum acceptable weight that candidates of a particular height must have. Weights below the minimum specified<br \/>\nwill not be acceptable in any case. The maximum acceptable weight of height has been specified in age wise categories. Weights<br \/>\nhigher than the acceptable limit will be acceptable only in the case of candidates with documented evidence of body building,<br \/>\n42 wrestling, and boxing at the National level. In such cases the following criteria will have to be met.<\/p>\n<p>(i) Body Mass Index should be below 25.<br \/>\n(ii) Waist Hip ratio should be below 0.9 for male and 0.8 for female.<br \/>\n(iii) Waist Circumference should be less than 90 cm for male and 80 cm for female.<br \/>\n(iv) All biochemical metabolic parameters should be within normal limits.<\/p>\n<p>Note: The height and weight for candidates below 17 years will be followed as per guidelines by \u2018Indian Academy of Paediatrics growth<br \/>\ncharts for height, weight and BMI for 05 Years to 16 Years old children\u2019 amended from time to time.<\/p>\n<h2>Height and Weight Standards for Male Candidates joining NDA (Army):<\/h2>\n<p>(a) Weight for height charts given above is for all categories of personnel. Gorkhas and candidates belonging to Hills of North Eastern region of India. Garhwal and Kumaon, will be accepted with a minimum height of 152 cm.<\/p>\n<p>Note : An allowance for growth of 02 cm will be made for both male and female candidates below 18 yrs of age at the time of<br \/>\nexamination. The minimum height requirement for the Flying Branch is 163 cm.
