The awaiting moment of Chandrayaan 2 landing\u00a0 was\u00a0 heartbroken\u00a0 when ISRO\u00a0 lost all the\u00a0 links with Lander Vikram just before 2.1 km away from moon .Scientists are still trying to contact with the lander if any signal they receive.<\/p>\n

India hoped to be the fourth country\u00a0 to soft land on moon. The ratio of soft landing on moon is about half of the 38 landing attempts.<\/p>\n

In the control room PM Narendra Modi registered his presence as the witness for the landing though it was unsuccessful. 60 students who have been selected from the quiz competition are also present to witness the historic event.<\/p>\n

To uplifting the disheartened scientists\u00a0 he said ” You are those people\u00a0 who live for the nation and work towards its progress. You have given your life for the country. I could understand you all the country . I could understand you all last night. I\u00a0 could read the disappointment on your faces. You all have slept since so many nights. the obstacles have not been weakened the spirits of the country, but have strengthened them . There may have\u00a0 been a blockade in our path . But we are not deterred from the path of our destination.”<\/p>\n

About Chandrayaan 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chandrayaan 2 is an Indian lunar mission that will be landed on the south pole of moon where no country have gone before.<\/p>\n

It was launched on 22 July 2019 from Sriharikota.<\/p>\n

The first\u00a0 moon mission Chandrayaan 1 launched in 2008, was to discover water molecule and this mission would be look for the presence of water and map\u00a0 the moon’s topography.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
