What is Navy MR (Matric Recruit)\u00a0?<\/h2>\n

What is Navy MR: Since the launch Of \u00a0Agnipath Scheme in \u00a0Indian Navy The Class Of Sailors is Changed. Earlier there were \u00a04 class of jawans (sailors) in Indian Navy i.e,<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0AA<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0SSR<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0MR (Navy Metric Recruit)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and NMR (Non-Metric Recruit)<\/strong><\/p>\n

These were \u00a0the four class of vacancies which was available for high-school and 12th<\/sup>\u00a0passed students. However Now only two vacancies are left.<\/p>\n

a.) Navy SSR\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 b) Navy MR .<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this Blog, we are going to discuss about Navy MR,Job Roles Of Navy MR and the Training of Navy MR. The students who are unable to continue their education after 10th<\/sup>\u00a0may be due to their economic condition or some other have an opportunity to Join Indian Navy In Indian Navy work is either on ships on shores or offshore only<\/p>\n

There are three categories of job in MR<\/h2>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Chef or Cook<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Steward \u2013 for serving food<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Sanitary Hygienist<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Indian Navy there is separate mess for officers and sailors. Mess which is Member of equal social status. People mix up with each other in the mess, relax and enjoy. As Mess serves food, food is cooked separately for officers and sailors. Cleaning and sanitization is also carried out. All the works is carried out by these MR.<\/p>\n

After Agnipath Scheme, the age for MR is from 17\u00a0\u00a0to 21 years. And both for boys and girls candidates. Girls cook food better than boys. Girls are more organized in terms of cleanliness. Thus Girls can also join Indian Navy \u00a0During this 4 year job,Navy MR Sailors may be posted on ships and\/or offshore or in the submarines<\/p>\n

Selection Process Of Navy MR<\/h2>\n

Stage 1- Online CBT(Computer Based Test)-First an online All India Test is conducted of 50 Questions (25 maths and \u00a0science and 25 from G.K.) of 50 marks in 30 minutes<\/p>\n

Stage 2- Those Candidates Who Pass in Stage 1 will face Written Test +Physical Fitness Test+Medicals.Offline written test is of same standards as like \u00a0Online Test and thereafter PFT. PFT Standards are as follows:-<\/p>\n

Males have to complete in 6.5 minutes and for females 8 minutes then 20 utak-baithak for male and 15 for females followed by pushups (sapat) 12 for male and 10 knee pushups (not full push-ups) Medical test will be done after clearing physical test.<\/p>\n

Training Of Navy MR<\/h2>\n

6 months (14 weeks) Basic training will start in INS Chilka. Basic physical military training is done. You have to be physically sound in defence forces. The physical test is necessary for candidates because in the emergencies you have to tackle.<\/p>\n

First you have under go through Basic Training and there after either you become cook, or steward or sanitary hygienic. Branch \/ Trade will be allocated a per the requirement of service.\u00a0 And hence you got your posting according to that. After 4 years, those who worked good will retains the service as permanent other will leave. The entry in Navy is only Through Agnipath Scheme.<\/p>\n
