The award ceremony is held at Shastri Bhawan in New Delhi. The award is delayed by 3 months due to elections of Lok Sabha.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It was started in 1954 .<\/li>\n<li>The jury which are selected and appointed by the government selects the winners in each categories.<\/li>\n<li>the awards are categories in three sections:\n<ul>\n<li>Features film<\/li>\n<li>Non feature films<\/li>\n<li>Best writing on Cinema<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>It was announced on every year in April and ceremony in May.<\/li>\n<li>In 2018\u00a0 Sri devi and Vinod Khanna were awarded posthumously.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><a
