\u00a0OFFICER INTELLIGENCE RATING TEST : To become an officer in the Indian Armed Forces, one must pass the SSB (Services Selection Board) Interview process after passing written exams such as CDS, AFCAT, NDA, and so on. The SSB process is the same regardless of entry and service type. OIR is an abbreviation for Officer’s Intelligence Rating. It is a test of a candidate’s intellectual ability. The OIR is the first test performed on the screening day. It is a two-part aptitude examination. In these sets, questions of both verbal and non – verbal reasoning are inquired. Candidates are given confidential DIPR test booklets as well as an OMR sheet. Candidates must answer as many queries as they can in approximately 35 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the evaluation of answer sheets, Each candidate receives an OIR rating ranging from 1 to 5. The better the OIR, the greater the chances of admission.<\/span><\/p>\n

Officer Intelligence Rating Test Syllabus<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Officer Intelligence Rating Test is divided into two sections: verbal and nonverbal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The verbal section of the Officer Intelligence Rating Test includes questions about relationships, jumbled words, coding\/decoding, multiple-choice questions, antonym and synonym, sentence rebuilding, one-word substitution, odd one out, common sense and alphabet test, and arithmetic queries. <\/span><\/p>\n

On the other hand, the nonverbal section of the Officer Intelligence Rating Test includes questions such as: Which figure is different from the other, Series completion, Find the hidden figure. Fill in the appropriate figure.<\/span><\/p>\n
