Transparency International has recently released the Corruption Perceptions Index. According to this index, India is ranked 85th among the countries of the world. The report says that the corruption score for India has remained stable for over a decade.<\/p>\n

Transparency International has included 180 countries in the ranking. This ranking has been made on the basis of corruption in the public sector of the countries. Based on this the Corruption Perception Index is calculated. Here zero means extremely corrupt, a score of 100 means that the country is clean. India has secured 40 points in this index.<\/p>\n

India was ranked 86th in the rankings in 2020. India was ranked 80th in 2019. Pakistan is ranked 140th in this index with a score of 28. Pakistan is performing poorly mainly because of the absence of rule of law. In 2020, Pakistan was ranked 124th. Pakistan’s score in 2020 was 31.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
