According to recent research by the International Energy Agency (IEA), India is on track to become the world’s third largest ethanol market by 2026.<\/p>\n

By 2026, India will be left behind only the US and Brazil, as it has accelerated the transition towards a clean energy environment to become carbon neutral by 2070.<\/p>\n

India’s use of ethanol has tripled to an estimated 3 billion liters between 2017-2021. With this, India will surpass China as the world’s third largest ethanol user by 2026.<\/p>\n

According to the IEA, India has made “massive progress” in the expansion of ethanol blending. The blending was 2 per cent in 2017. By 2021 it had reached 8 per cent. Thus it has brought India on the verge of achieving 10 percent blending in 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
