CLAT Score Compulsory for JAG :<\/strong> The Indian Army has made the CLAT or Common Law Admission Test score mandatory for the Judge Advocate Entrance, which is a unique entry for law graduates that allows them to go for a straight SSB interview without taking a written test. CLAT score and 55 percent aggregate marks in LLB degree will be required beginning with the JAG 30 notification.<\/span><\/p>\n

These eligibility criteria have been changed for Short Service Commission JAG Entry Scheme 30th course (men & women) April 2023 and following courses. From the SSC (JAG) 30 course onwards, CLAT (PG) score has been made essential for the Short Service Commission (NT) JAG course.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is in addition to the conditions of having a minimum of 55 per cent aggregate marks in an LLB degree, being entitled to enlist as an advocate with the Bar Council of India\/state and having graduated from a college\/university recognised by the Bar Council of India.<\/span><\/p>\n

CLAT (pg) scores from the previous year will be accepted beginning in April 2023. Candidates applying for the SSC (jag)-30 course (April2023) and the SSC (jag)-31 course (October2023) must produce a CLAT (pg) 2022 score. Moreover, an ll applicant enrolling for SSC (jag) admission must register for and take the previous year’s CLAT (pg) test.\u00a0 Notably, the CLAT 2022 test will be conducted on May 8, 2022, and the CLAT2023 exam will be held on December 18, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n
