Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the first National Infrastructure Masterplan named “Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti” on 13 October 2021.<\/p>\n
This Gati Shakti Yojana was announced by Prime Minister Modi on the occasion of Independence Day, 2021.<\/p>\n
This master plan will bring 16 ministries and seven key infrastructure sectors on a single platform to coordinate various project plans among all stakeholder ministries to avoid duplication, plug gaps and expedite timely approvals.<\/p>\n
This Gati Shakti platform was launched to provide instant information in the country. This will allow better coordination between the ministries. This Gati Shakti Yojana was launched with an aim to achieve three basic goals,<\/p>\n
Seamless multimodal connectivity to facilitate easy movement of goods and people.
\nBetter prioritization, optimum utilization of resources, timely capacity building, and
\nResolving issues like disjointed planning, standardization and approvals.<\/p>\n
Purpose of Prime Minister Gati Shakti Master Plan<\/strong><\/p>\n This master plan will provide a framework for the ‘National Infrastructure Pipeline Programme’.
