Income Tax Department has launched its new e-filing portal on June 07, 2021. This new portal can be accessed through www.incometax.gov.in.<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This new e-filing portal aims to provide a modern, seamless and more convenient experience to the taxpayers.<\/p>\n

According to the Finance Ministry, this new taxpayer friendly portal has been integrated with the objective of instant processing of income tax returns and quick refunds to the taxpayers.<\/p>\n

This new portal will display all interactions and uploaded or pending tasks on a single dashboard for follow up action by the taxpayer. It will also act as a one-stop center for all such works.<\/p>\n

In addition, it provides a free ITR preparation software with interactive questions to assist the taxpayers.<\/p>\n

This portal will enable taxpayers to proactively update their profile to provide certain details of income including salary, house property and profession, which will be used in pre-filing of their ITR.<\/p>\n

It will also enable pre-filing with salary income, interest, dividend and capital gains after the TDS and SFT details are uploaded and the due date is June 30, 2021.<\/p>\n

This new portal will also include a new Call Center for Taxpayer Support, so that queries of taxpayers can be answered quickly. It will also provide detailed FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions), User Manuals, Videos and Chatbots\/Live Agents.<\/p>\n

It will also include all functional processes like filing Income Tax Forms, engaging tax professionals and responding to notices in faceless inquiry or appeal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
