During the meeting of the National Task Force-ICMR set up for Covid-19 last week, all the members agreed to remove plasma therapy from the Corona treatment guidelines, after which the government’s decision has come out. Plasma therapy has not been found to be effective in the treatment of Covid-19 patients.<\/p>\n
An Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) official said the task force removed plasma therapy by amending the Corona treatment guidelines for Kovid-19 patients. Vijayaraghavan cautioned the use of plasma therapy for Covid-19 treatment in the country as irrational and non-scientific use.
