Name of Border Road Organization entered in Guinness Book of World Records
The name of the Border Road Organization of the Indian Army has been recorded in the Guinness World Records. The reason for this is to build the world’s highest motorable road in Ladakh at an altitude of 19,300 feet and to erect asphalt on it. The name of this route is Umling La Pass, which is the world’s highest and more challenging road made for vehicles after Khardung La Pass.
