Ministry of Tribal Affairs has launched ‘Shram Shakti’ portal on 22 January 2021 to collect data related to tribal migrant workers and such workers will also be linked to the existing welfare schemes. The Minister of Tribal Affairs, Arjun Munda, while launching the digital portal ‘Shram Shakti’ said that the lack of real-time data about migrant workers is the biggest challenge facing the central and state governments.
