Noida DM Suhas LY becomes first IAS officer to win Paralympic Medal

Noida District Magistrate Suhas LY has become the first IAS officer to win a badminton medal at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. 38-year-old Suhas LY has created history by winning a silver medal for India in the men’s singles SL4 category on September 05, 2021. Yathiraj finished second behind top seed and world champion Lucas Mazur of France. Suhas has a defect in one ankle. Suhas finished second in the final against Lukas Mazur 21-15, 17-21, 15-21.
