Government of India set up Export Promotion Council for AYUSH products
The Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of AYUSH have decided to form an Export Promotion Council (Export Promotion Council) to jointly promote the export of AYUSH products. Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal and AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik took this decision during the review meeting of AYUSH Trade and Industry. This review meeting was done through video conference. More than 2000 stakeholders from the AYUSH sector along with about 50 industries and business leaders participated in it. Indian Navy Likely Execute Orders Worth $51 billion For Subnmarines, Surface Ships In 10 Years
Union Minister of State for Defence Shripad Naik on Friday said expected orders for surface ships and submarines to be executed from 2020 to 2030 by the Indian Navy are to the tune of USD 51 billion. Naik was addressing a virtual meet on opportunities at Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) and Mazagao Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDSL), organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
