This time the parade will start from Vijay Chowk to the National Stadium whereas earlier Republic Day parade started from Rajpath and went to Red Fort. The length of the parade was 8.2 kilometres, but this time it will be only 3.3 kilometres long from Vijay Chowk to National Stadium. This time fewer people will get the chance to see the parade.
