Indian Navy Officially Inducts INS Vela
Indian Navy inducted the submarine INS Vela into service on Thursday, further increasing the naval power of the country. The Indian Navy has to induct a total of six submarines into service under the Kalvari-class submarine Project-75. INS Vela is the fourth submarine of this class inducted into service. The submarine was inducted into service in the presence of Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Karambir Singh. Earlier, the Navy inducted the warship INS Visakhapatnam into service on 21 November.
