On 05 November 2020 in Haryana Vidhan Sabha, the bill for providing 75 percent reservation to local people in private sector jobs was passed. In this bill, there is a provision to give 75 percent reservation to local people in jobs with less than Rs. 50 thousand per month of the state. With this, a major election promise of Jananayak Janata Party, the constituent of the ruling coalition in the state, was fulfilled. This bill will become law after getting approval from the Governor.
