Fake Army Soldier Claimed To Para SF Commando Arrested
A man and a woman were arrested by the Indian Army for imitating as an army officer in Tezpur report said. The Indian Army apprehended the fake army officer and the woman from Kaliabor Bridge, Tezpur. Additionally, they also confiscate fake documents like identity cards, Liquid cards, departmental identity cards from the accused. Reportedly, the accused claimed that he belongs from 9 Para (Special Forces), afterwards, he changed the statement stating that he works in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). What Is AFSOD : The Armed Forces Special Operations Division (AFSOD) is a tri-administration order of the Indian Armed Forces. The division is entrusted to do exceptional tasks or special operations. The AFSOD draws staff from each of the three exceptional warfare wings of the Armed Forces. Indian Army Major General A. K. Dhingra, who is a war veteran from the Para SF, was designated in May 2019 as the incharge of AFSOD. The division is relied upon to be changed over into a full estimated tri-administration order in future. The division closed its first exercise, code named ‘Smelling Field’,
