Panna Tiger Reserve gets status of Biosphere Reserve from UNESCO

Panna Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh has been included in UNESCO’s ‘World Network of Biosphere Reserves’ list. Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar, while sharing the news on Twitter, congratulated the reserve for the situation and praised its work on tiger conservation. Adding the tiger reserve to the UNESCO list will help in discovering new measures towards the conservation and sustainability of wildlife. Environment, Forest and Climate Minister Prakash Javadekar has tweeted that the Panna Tiger Reserve has now been declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. In his tweet, he congratulated the Panna Tiger Reserve for doing excellent work in tiger conservation.
