India Dismisses China Claims Of Unfurling Flag on Galwan Valley
In a strong message to China, India has rubbished media reports of claims by that country of having unfurled their flag in the Galwan Valley, where the armed forces of both sides are locked in a standoff. Responding to media questions related to the Chinese claims as well as images of construction being carried out at the friction points, official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Arindam Bagchi termed the news of flag hoisting as factually incorrect. CDS Bipin Rawat Refutes Report Of China Building Village In Arunachal Pradesh
Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Bipin Rawat has reacted to the report of China building a village in India’s Arunachal Pradesh. CDS Rawat said on Thursday that the controversy about the Chinese coming into the Indian territory and building a new village is “not true”. General Rawat said that the villages were well within the Chinese side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
