Havildar Vedprakash Gets Martyred On Independence Day Fighting Maoists
On the day of Independence Day, Havildar Ved Prakash, a resident of Mauri village of Dadri, was martyred in an encounter with Maoists in Arunachal Pradesh. The martyr was cremated with military and state honors in his native village. People gathered in the village to bid farewell to the brave braveheart. The sky reverberated with the slogans ‘Vedprakash is immortal’, ‘Till the sun will remain the moon, Vedprakash will be your name…’.
