Lt Gen Nav Kumar Khanduri Take Over As Western Command Commander-In-Chief
Lt Gen Nav Kumar Khanduri on Monday took over as the Commander-in-Chief of the Western Command. He has succeeded Lt Gen RP Singh as the Commander-in-Chief of the Western Command. Lt Gen RP Singh retired on 31 October. This is the first time that an officer of the Army’s Air Defense Corps has been appointed to the rank of Commander-in-Chief in a command. On taking over, Lieutenant General Nav Kumar Khanduri paid tribute to the martyred soldiers by visiting Veer Smriti. He was given a guard of honour by the Western Command. Khundri has been the Commander in Trishakti Corps
