Lt Abhishek Kumar, 28 year old Indian Officer drowned and lost his life while swimming in Kerala. Abhishek Kumar was posted in Southern Command in Kerala, Kottayam. He went missing while taking a dip in the stream near Marmala waterfalls. Abhishek belonged to Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He was swimming when sudden surge of water from the watefalls swept him away. The body was taken out around 4 pm by the fire and rescue team named “Team Nanmakottam” Due to the strong currents and wind the rescue operation was affected.
