Indian Navy ship INS Kiltan will join the exercise in the South China Sea from 26 to 27 December with the Navy of Vietnam. According to the statement issued by the Ministry of Defense, the warship arrived in flood-hit central Vietnam on Thursday carrying 15 tons of disaster relief material. The ship arrived at Naha Rahang Port in Ho China Minh City, Vietnam. More than 230 people have died in central Vietnam due to the severe floods in October-November.
