A Navy officer who was on vacation in Chennai died after drowning at Kovalam beach. The authorities gave this information on Friday. The officer’s body was fished on Friday from Kelambakkam, about five kilometers from the spot where he was washed away in the sea. A release issued by the Defense Office said that Lieutenant Commander of the Indian Navy JR Suresh was washed away on the Kovalam beach on the outskirts of Chennai on the evening of 25 November 2021. Indian Navy Officially Inducts INS Vela
Indian Navy inducted the submarine INS Vela into service on Thursday, further increasing the naval power of the country. The Indian Navy has to induct a total of six submarines into service under the Kalvari-class submarine Project-75. INS Vela is the fourth submarine of this class inducted into service.
