Union Defense Ministry has appointed Virender Singh Pathania (VS Pathania) as the Additional Director General of the Indian Coast Guard Headquarters in the national capital Delhi. Pathania’s appointment order was issued by the government on Friday and he will take charge on September 30. The post was lying vacant for months after the previous officer took superannuation. Indian Coast Guard rescues seven fishermen from a sinking boat in Diu
Indian Coast Guard rescued seven fishermen from a sinking boat near Vanakbara Beach in Diu. This was informed in an official statement released on Tuesday. There was some fault in the fishing boat and it was stuck in the sea near the beach.
