Indian Army Brings 3+1 Model for Young Officers Training The four-year training model will ensure that young officers in the Indian Army units serve the country for one additional year. The Indian Army has decided to have a four-year (3+1) model for entry level officers, under the Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme (TES). The model comprises three years of training focused on technical training at the Cadet Training Wings (CTWs), followed by one year of basic military training at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun, said a statement on Thursday. The four-year training model will ensure  that young officers
