Army deploys K-9 Vajra Howitzer tank in Ladakh
Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane on Thursday inducted the last 100 K-9 Vajra cannon into the Indian Army. These three howitzer cannons have been deployed on the high hills of Ladakh in view of the test. These cannons have come to Leh only on 17 February, from where it will be taken to high altitude area for testing, so that this weapon can be used against enemies even in such places. Army Chief MM Narwane meets Nepali counterpart
Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane met his Nepalese counterpart General Purna Chandra Thapa on Thursday and discussed ways to further deepen the existing relations of cooperation and friendship between the two armies. At the invitation of General Thapa, General Narwane is currently in Kathmandu on a three-day visit. His visit is largely aimed at strengthening the relations between the two countries.
