A ceremony was held today to honour the soldiers of Bihar Regiment who were martyred in a clash with Chinese soldiers in Galvan Valley. The ceremony was held under the aegis of the Headquarters Jharkhand-Bihar Sub Area. The honour ceremony was held at the Bihar Regiment Center in Danapur to commemorate the 70th Infantry Day. In this honour ceremony, the successors and dependents of all the 12 Galvan martyrs of 16 Bihar Regiment were included on a platform for the first time. Also included was the wife of Colonel B Santosh Babu, the Shahid Kamadding Officer of 16 Bihar Regiment.
