Uday Shankar has been named as the President of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI – FICCI) for the year 2020-21. He will replace current president Sangeeta Reddy. Shankar will hold office during the 93rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of FICCI to be held on December 11, December 12 and December 14, 2020. He will become the first media executive in India to head FICCI. FICCI is India’s oldest national industry chamber. He also serves as the vice president of FICCI.
