India to become world’s third largest ethanol market by 2026: IEA
According to recent research by the International Energy Agency (IEA), India is on track to become the world’s third largest ethanol market by 2026. By 2026, India will be left behind only the US and Brazil, as it has accelerated the transition towards a clean energy environment to become carbon neutral by 2070. India’s use of ethanol has tripled to an estimated 3 billion liters between 2017-2021. With this, India will surpass China as the world’s third largest ethanol user by 2026.
