Government of India has constituted a working group with the objective of launching the overhauled Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PFMBY) from Kharif season, 2022. This working group has been constituted comprising officials of the Centre, top officials of public sector insurance companies and major crop-producing states. Serotype-2 Dengue: Center directs 11 states to take action to prevent severe dengue cases
Center had convened a high-level meeting on September 18, 2021 to discuss the emerging challenge of serotype-2 dengue cases that have wreaked havoc in 11 states across the country.
