Serum Institute Permits Emergency Use of ‘Covishield’, Becomes First Indian Company
Indian vaccine manufacturer Serum Institute of India (SII) has sought formal approval for the emergency use of “Covishield”, a Covid-19 vaccine from Oxford in India on 06 December 2020. According to media reports, Serum has sought permission from the Controller General of Indian Medicine (DCGI) to use the emergency of its Corona vaccine ‘Kovishield’. RBI directs HDFC Bank to stop selling new credit cards
The Reserve Bank of India has asked a private sector lender, HDFC Bank, to discontinue the new sourcing of credit cards to customers on a temporary basis, along with its digital launch. The Supreme Court has issued a directive to install CCTV in police stations across the country on 02 December 2020. The Supreme Court has directed the states and union territories across the country to implement the court order in the right spirit.
