Transparency International has recently released the Corruption Perceptions Index. According to this index, India is ranked 85th among the countries of the world. The report says that the corruption score for India has remained stable for over a decade. Transparency International has included 180 countries in the ranking. This ranking has been made on the basis of corruption in the public sector of the countries. Based on this the Corruption Perception Index is calculated.
