CDS General Bipin Rawat Cremation  : India’s first Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat will be cremated today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had paid tribute to the CDS, his wife and 11 jawans at Palam airbase a day earlier. This week, 13 people died in an army helicopter crash in Coonoor in the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu. Apart from CDS, his wife and 11 jawans are included in this.
