I am going to answer this question with the support of some facts and figures. Till date there are 400 seats are dedicated to NDA men and women for Army, Air Force, Navy. An article was published in The Times of India 2 yrs back which stated Out Of  400 seats, ‘mostly selected  students of NDA  belong to rural background . More than 70% candidates going to NDA belongs to small cities, towns, villages those who belongs to UP, then Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Jharkhand and then rest of states.
