Indian Army has deployed an Aviation Brigade for the first time in Arunachal Pradesh. This brigade has Attack Helicopters, large transport helicopters like Chinook and Mi 17 for rapid movement of troops to the Line of Control (LAC) and most important drones for surveillance. Helicopters are mostly used in the mountains, valleys and dense forest areas like Arunachal Pradesh.
