A senior Indian Army official said on Tuesday that the security situation in South Kashmir has improved significantly. The army is ready for challenges like the threat of IED explosives and the successful conduct of the annual Amarnath Yatra. He said that the current security situation in South Kashmir is stable and it is a significant improvement over 2019. He said that the number of people joining terrorist organizations has also decreased significantly.
