Recently Indian women boxers Simranjit Kaur (60 kg) and Manish (57 kg) won gold medals at the Cologne Boxing World Cup in Germany. Manish defeated compatriot Sakshi 3–2 while Simranjit won the title by defeating Maya Kilihans of Germany 4–1. India won three gold, two silver and four bronze medals in this competition and finished second in the overall table.
