PIQ or Personal Information Questionnaire is a form that is filled after the screening. Candidates have to be very careful while filling the form. The questions asked during interview by Officer will be based on the details filled by the candidate. Officer might ask to do certain activity based on the information filled by respective candidate. The details required in the form are basically candidate’s academic background, personal information about family or close relative, achievement or miscellaneous questions. So candidates need to be very clear and honest while filling details otherwise it might give the assessors doubt about particular candidate.

PPDT and TAT have almost same pattern of story writing with two additional rounds one of individual narration where candidates have to simply narrate their story and will get 1 minute and group discussion of the story without any interference by the assessors to conclude a story from characters and events to come up with a common story. The pattern followed is same for both the TAT and PPDT. In both the assessment an unclear picture is shown to the candidates for 30 second and they have to write the story in 4 minutes. Psychological Test is conducted on the second day of the five day process of SSB. The main purpose of the test is to evaluate the potentials, capability, strength and weaknesses of the candidate at the conscious and subconscious level. This is taken by an expert psychologist who prepares a report based on your tests which will be written down on your profile. During the interview some questions might be asked following the stories you wrote hence you need to be real and true while the psychology test because you can act differently from conscious mind but not from your subconscious
