SSB interviews are conducted by various Services Selection Boards of Indian Army, Navy and by Air Force Selection Boards. These SSB boards select candidates for commissioned officer posts in Indian Armed Forces through SSB interviews. SSB Interview is five days long procedure which includes two stages of testing as stage I & stage II. SSB Interview is conducted mainly by three officers i.e. Interviewing officer, Psychological officer and GTO i.e. Group Testing officer. The GTO is a series of outdoor tasks, designed to assess a candidate’s qualities in a group and how they get involve with each others in a group. The 3rd and 4th day of SSB interview (In AFSB, GTO test series are conducted on Day 2 & 3 or Day 3 & 4) are dedicated for GTO tasks. National Defence Academy at khadakwasla is a Defence Training Institute which imparts basic training for all three Services of Indian Armed Forces – Army, Air Force and Navy. Males youngsters who intend to join armed Forces can join NDA after 12th. To join National Defence Academy a candidate must appear in the entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission, twice a year, normally in month of March and August.
