Russia assures flow of defence supplies to India
Russia has assured India that defence supplies will not be hit by the western sanctions announced against Moscow and that alternative mechanisms are in place to ensure that crucial contracts such as the S-400 air defence system are not disrupted. Sanjay Singh Gehlot, Inspector General of BSF Guwahati frontier visited the border outposts at Indo-Bangladesh and inaugurated CCTV surveillance system. Indian Naval ship ‘Nireekshak’, an advanced diving support ship, arrived at Sri Lanka’s Trincomalee port on Monday for facilitating diving training for the Sri Lankan Navy, the Indian High Commission here said.
