Army Soldier Arrested in Ambala Army constable Rohit Kumar resident Kodwa Khurd has been arrested from Shahzadpur police station area of Ambala for leaking Indian Army’s intelligence information to Pakistan’s ISI. The 68 Engineering Regiment of the Indian Army is posted as a constable in Bhopal and came to his home village Kodwa Khurd on leave.
Intelligence agencies were keeping an eye on him, while Shahzadpur police station has arrested him and registered a case under the Official Secret Act. Police and intelligence agencies interrogated him in the police station, SP Hamid Akhtar also reached the police station and inquired about the matter.

It is noteworthy that this is the second case, when someone has been arrested from Ambala for spying and leaking information of the Indian Army. Due to this, Surendra Kumar of Ambala Cantt was arrested for giving information to Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. He was retired from Army Police and was posted in Police in Haryana.
Rohit Kumar is posted in Bhopal, 68 Engineering Regiment of the Army, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. He came in contact with a woman from Pakistan through Facebook. Intelligence agencies were constantly keeping a watch on Rohit and his activities remained quite suspicious. Rohit has two mobile phones and these numbers used to get calls from agents of Pakistan. In lieu of leaking information about Indian bases, Rohit also used to get Rs. On this, intelligence agencies gave input to Ambala Police. Based on this input, Shahzadpur police arrested Rohit Kumar. Rohit has also been questioned in the police station itself. It is said that other agencies including army intelligence will also interrogate Rohit.
