In a major reform initiative, the Department of Military Affairs (DMA) has recommended significant cuts in pension of premature retirees and raising the retirement age of certain categories of officers. Officials said the DMA’s move, headed by chief defense chief General Bipin Rawat, is part of a series of reforms focused on ensuring adequate use of resources and manpower. India tests new version of Pinaka rocket system
