Ravi Shankar Prasad Launches UMANG App International Version
On 23 November 2020, the central government announced the introduction of an international version of the Umang App. This edition will be useful for Indian tourists going abroad, overseas Indians and Indian international students. On the occasion of the third anniversary of this app, Information Technology and Communications Minister Ravi Shankar addressed a virtual program. SEBI Doubles Overseas Investment Limit In Individual Based Mutual Funds
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has raised the limit of foreign investment for Individual Mutual Fund from $ 300 million to $ 600 million. Third India-Canada Track 1.5 Dialogue between India and Canada
On 17 November 2020, Union Minister of External Affairs S.K. Jaishankar and his Canadian counterpart Francois-Philippe Champagne participated in the third Indo-Canada Track 1.5 dialogue. State’s consent is necessary for CBI Investigation : Supreme Court
The Supreme Court of India has declared that the consent of the concerned State Government is mandatory for a CBI inquiry under its jurisdiction as it conforms to the principle of federalism.
